Biography
Blakc Sheep is an American painter, portraitist and illustrator of Black American and Native American descent.
Influenced by mysticism, she mines her dreams for inspiration, creating detailed and elaborate images, guided by intuitive expression. She calls this process artmancy, a form of divination by means of art.
Blakc Sheep celebrates her subjects by adorning them with her unique aesthetic of signs and symbols, mined from her subconscious, lived experience and spontaneous inspiration.
